The universal flywheel holding tool stabilizes the flywheel on petrol and diesel engines when the engine is disconnected from the gearbox. It fits onto the teeth of the flywheel ring gear and attaches to the engine block, making it easier to remove, install and inspect components. It can also be used to lock the flywheel when checking the play in a dual-mass flywheel.
