The Sky-Watcher SynScan Kit for EQ5 (MPN: SW-4251, EAN: 5901691603523, SKU: WLONONWCRDHYZ) is a GoTo upgrade kit designed to convert EQ5/NEQ5 mount tripods (and similar mounts such as Vixen GP, Meade LXD55/LX70) into fully motorized, computerized mounts. The kit includes:

  • High-precision stepper motors for RA and DEC
  • Motor housings and cables
  • SynScan hand controller and control box
  • Power cable (car lighter type)
  • Mounting materials, tools, and user manual

Main features:

  • SynScan controller with a larger object database (up to ~42,900 objects depending on software)

  • ST-4 autoguider port
