The Magus Bio biological and digital microscope features a trinocular head with a port for a digital camera and an adjustable tilt of 0° to 35°. It is designed for observing transparent and translucent biological specimens using 3 W transmitted LED illumination and brightfield microscopy. The motorized revolving nosepiece and condenser automatically adjust their positions when magnification is changed, while the smart control system adjusts the brightness accordingly.

Köhler illumination provides uniform brightness across the field of view, and contrast can be adjusted using the condenser diaphragm. The stage platform is made of chemically strengthened Gorilla Glass. With additional accessories, the microscope can be used for darkfield, phase contrast, differential interference contrast (DIC), fluorescence, and polarization techniques.
