ThermalTe Gate - BRITA’s thermal disinfection solution The faucet of a typical water dispenser is constantly exposed to external contaminants (due to touch or sneezing). Without effective protection, microorganisms on the faucet can continue to contaminate the dispenser. For this reason, the BRITA dispenser features the ThermalTe Gate option. The ThermalTe Gate function automatically and regularly heats the faucet to 125°C for protection from contaminants. This provides increased safety against pathogenic microorganisms, as confirmed by an independent laboratory (Ruhr Area Hygiene Institute).

CLARITY Protect Filtration System - for exceptionally clean and safe drinking water The CLARITY Protect system effectively filters: microplastics, 99.99% of bacteria, 99.95% of parasitic cysts, as well as lead, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, and endocrine disruptors (e.g., naproxen, lindane, estrone). It also efficiently reduces persistent PFAS chemicals* by more than 99%. Activated carbon effectively retains substances that alter the taste of water. It removes coarse particles such as sand through prefiltration, reducing wear on the device. Minerals are retained in the water for proper balance.
