The voltage detector combines the advantages of the traditional phase detector and a non-contact voltage detector. The traditional phase detector allows quick and easy verification of the live wire. It is suitable for voltage detection between 70 - 250 V AC with contact. If the LED lights up, the wire is live. If the LED does not light up, the voltage of the wire under test is less than 70 V AC. In non-contact mode, the detector can detect voltages between 70 - 600 V AC, minimizing the risk of electric shock and providing safer phase verification.
- Polarity check
- Continuity check
- Safe non-contact detection
- Bright indicator
Warning!
- The detector must not be used for measuring voltages above the specified nominal values!
- Correct signaling is guaranteed only between -10 and +50 °C and within the frequency range of 50-500 Hz.
- The visibility of the indicator may be affected by unfavorable lighting conditions (e.g. direct sunlight).
- Before use, check the correct operation of the detector (AUTO-TEST).
- Do not use the detector in the presence of moisture! (including dew, condensation, or rain)
- The phase detector blade should only be used for voltage verification. Any other work should be performed only with the power supply disconnected! Do not use the detector if it is damaged!
- Under certain conditions, static electricity may accumulate on the plastic housing, causing false readings!
- Never attempt to modify the internal components of the detector.
