FIELDS OF APPLICATION
BIOCASA Trowel finish is a smoothing material with breathability capacity (grain size 0 – 0.2mm), suitable for the smooth finishing of plastered wall surfaces. The natural origin of its components ensures the retention of porosity, hygroscopicity, and wettability.
Suitable for:
- Interior and exterior spaces.
- Historical restoration with traditional ingredients.
Not to be used:
- On dirty, incoherent, and crumbly substrates.
- On old paints or lime paints.
- On substrates with a strong presence of salt deposits.
- On gypsum-based plasters.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Substrate preparation: The substrate must be clean and solid. Roughen the surfaces of new plasters with a wire brush. Wet the substrates before smoothing.
Method of use: Mix 1 bag of 20 kg with about 10 liters of clean water until a homogeneous mortar is achieved. Application is done with a metal trowel, keeping the surface wet and applying strong pressure.
Cleaning: Tools should be cleaned only with water before the product hardens.
