The Hyperkin The Competitor is a wired game controller primarily designed for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC (using XInput). It features:

  • Symmetrical design reminiscent of the DualSense, with a split D-pad.
  • Symmetrical Hall Effect analog sticks (drift-resistant) with metal glide rings and interchangeable stick caps.
  • Hall Effect triggers.
  • Programmable rear grips.
  • 3.5mm audio jack and microphone mute button.

The controller connects via a 3 m (10 ft) USB cable, which is rubber-coated, and weighs approximately 234 g. It has a polling rate close to 250 Hz (average input latency ~5–6 ms in tests). Package includes the controller, permanent USB cable, and interchangeable stick caps/quick start guide.
