The Uni-T UT302A+ infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures without contact, across a range of -32 °C to 700 °C. Its 20:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows measurements to be taken from a distance, while the single laser pointer helps with aiming.

The display is backlit, and the emissivity is adjustable. The MAX, MIN, AVG, DIFF, and HOLD functions make it easier to view and compare measurements, while visual and audible alarms indicate relevant measurement conditions. The housing can withstand a drop from a height of up to 1 m.
