The Uni-T UT303D+ infrared thermometer measures surface temperatures without contact, over a range of -32 °C to 1300 °C. Its dual laser helps target the measurement area, while the 30:1 distance-to-spot ratio allows measurements from a greater distance. It has a response time of 250 ms and a backlit EBTN colour display.
Emissivity is adjustable from 0.1 to 1.0, with 5 presets. Measurement modes include MAX, MIN, AVG and DIFF, and the device stores up to 99 readings with the date and time. It features a display hold function (HOLD), data logging, scheduled measurements, and visual and audible alarms. Measurement accuracy is ±1.5 °C or ±1.5% for temperatures of 0 °C and above; below zero, the error is calculated using the formula ±(1.5 °C + 0.1 °C/°C). Repeatability is 0.7 °C or 0.7%. The housing withstands drops from heights of up to 1 m.
