The Le Creuset cast iron casserole retains heat for even cooking and browning, while helping food stay warm for longer at the table. The lid fits snugly, helping to retain moisture and enhance flavour. It is suitable for casseroles, roasts, soups and oven-baked dishes.

The enamelled interior makes cleaning easier. The large handles make it easy to move from the hob to the oven and table, while the lid knob is heat-resistant up to 260 °C. To care for the cast iron, low to medium heat and gradual heating are recommended. Silicone, wooden or heat-resistant plastic utensils can be used; metal utensils should be used with care.
