Quix Extra Spray is a natural medicine (medical device) for nasal congestion and sinus problems. It contains water from the Atlantic Ocean with valuable minerals and trace elements, as well as eucalyptus oil. The salt concentration in Quix Extra (equivalent to approximately 2.6% NaCl) is higher than that of the nasal mucosa (hypertonic saline solution), creating osmotic pressure that helps relieve congestion.
The bottle features an integrated antibacterial pump system that protects against contamination throughout its use. Quix Extra combines decongestant action with a sensation of freshness. It removes excess fluid by reducing swelling and relieving congestion of the nose and sinuses. It also softens accumulated or dry secretions, facilitating the clearing of the nose.
The invigorating eucalyptus oil creates a sensation of a clean and clear nasal cavity, making breathing easier.
- Active ingredients: Atlantic Ocean water, eucalyptus oil (0.015 ml per 100 ml).
- Dosage and method of use: Recommended dose: Adults and adolescents: 1-3 sprays in each nostril, 2 to 3 times daily. Children over 6 years old: 1-2 sprays in each nostril, 2 to 3 times daily.
- Contraindications: In cases of hypersensitivity (allergy) to seawater or eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil may cause allergic reactions (including shortness of breath) in sensitive patients. You may feel a slight burning sensation at the start of using the product.
This product should not be used by children under 6 years of age.
