Universal repair kit
A kit for repairing wooden furniture, floors, panels, stairs, door frames and other surfaces. It can be used to repair minor dents in furniture and flooring components that are not subject to heavy wear.
Versatile applications
The set is designed for minor repairs. Choose from 8 popular wood shades to find the closest match to the colour of the item you are repairing. The markers and pencils have different uses:
- Markers: For areas exposed to wear, such as furniture corners and table and chair legs. The marker pigment helps make impact marks less visible.
- Waxes: For areas not exposed to abrasion or heavy use, such as flat surfaces (excluding tabletops) and decorative elements. The wax fills the gap and colours it at the same time.
- Paints: For precise touch-ups and repairs on unevenly coloured surfaces. Suitable for covering larger discoloured areas or for applying the final finish to repaired surfaces.
How to use
Before starting the repair, clean the damaged area thoroughly and smooth its surface so that no splinters or fragments protrude from the edges.
Marker: Choose a colour that matches the dent. If the set does not include a suitable shade, use a lighter-coloured pencil and try darkening the area by applying several layers. Wipe away excess pigment with a paper towel.
Wax: Rub a wax stick in a suitable colour over the damaged area. Fill the dent as much as possible—you can also cover the surrounding area. Press the wax firmly into the dent with your finger. After a few minutes, wipe away the excess with a cloth. Wax filling is not durable, so take care when cleaning and using the repaired furniture.
Paints: Choose a matching shade or mix several colours to achieve the desired result. Use a brush to apply the paint to the surface, thoroughly covering the damaged area. Leave it to dry. If needed, apply another coat for more complete coverage.
