Keratin tips are ideal for hair extensions. Each hair strand is connected with a natural hair strand of similar width, at a distance of not less than 1 cm from the scalp. The connection is made using a hair extension device, at a temperature from 180 °C to 200 °C. At the connection point of the natural hair and the extensions, the keratin tip melts, achieving a strong bond.

After attaching the extensions, it is important to avoid contact with water for 48 hours, in order for the keratin to dry completely and form a strong bond with the attached hair strand.
