There are times when it ghosts and has false detections or can miss presence, but in general it works satisfactorily with quite good operation using zones in the room.
If you're interested in integration with Home Assistant, forget zigbee2mqtt since the zones don't work, and as I read in the latest update, it's not something that will be permanently fixed because of the way it exposes the data over Zigbee. With the official Shelly integration over Wi‑Fi, it works flawlessly.
