CYNKAL is an acrylic primer varnish designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized metals, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is based on an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters and features high adhesion to all substrate types.

The composition of CYNKAL includes modern corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind corrosion products, providing excellent resistance against corrosion. It also contains small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives to facilitate the penetration of the paint into corrosion products.

CYNKAL naturally and chemically binds with rust and metallic substrates. It is particularly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation, maintaining color durability.

CYNKAL is free of chromium and lead compounds and spreads easily.

Purpose: CYNKAL is intended for painting clean (e.g., after wiping) or partially clean elements affected by corrosion and made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and adhesion to the substrate, the first layer forms an excellent base for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other solvent-based varnishes and fillers.

Application of 2-4 layers of CYNKAL provides protection against corrosion and an aesthetic finish. Like other acrylic binder paints, CYNKAL can also be used on wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates.

CYNKAL is mainly used as a primer varnish but can also serve as a corrosion primer under other paints or as a varnish for recoloring existing coatings.

For medium-term protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is mainly used where technical or economic reasons prevent full surface preparation by sandblasting, or when partially adhering corrosion products and old paint layers remain after mechanical surface treatment.

CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by significantly reducing the cost of mechanical or chemical surface preparation before painting.

Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C. However, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of crosslinking reactive resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents the appearance of stripes at temperatures of 130-140°C.
