CYNKAL acrylic primer-paint 0.7L Graphite Gray RAL

CYNKAL is an acrylic primer-paint designed for painting surfaces made of steel, galvanized, cast iron, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass). It is based on an acrylic copolymer modified with adhesion promoters, providing high adhesion on all types of substrates. It contains modern corrosion inhibitors that chemically bind corrosion products, offering excellent anti-corrosion properties.

CYNKAL includes small amounts of alcohols and their derivatives, which facilitate the paint’s penetration into corrosion products. It bonds naturally and chemically with rust and metal substrates.

It is highly resistant to low temperatures, corrosion, and UV radiation. It maintains its color durability and does not contain chromium or lead compounds. The paint spreads easily.

Intended Use: CYNKAL is a primer-paint suitable for painting clean (e.g., after sandblasting) or partially clean elements affected by corrosion, made of steel, cast iron, galvanized steel, and light metals (such as aluminum, copper, brass, etc.). After drying and bonding with the substrate, the first layer forms an excellent base for subsequent layers of CYNKAL or other solvent-based and chemically hard coatings and fillers.

Applying 2-4 layers of CYNKAL provides corrosion protection and an aesthetic finish.

CYNKAL can also be used for painting wood, concrete, fiber cement, and other porous substrates. It is mainly used as a primer-paint but can also serve as an anti-corrosion primer under other paints or as a recoat paint for existing adhesion.

For moderate-duration protection, a minimum dry film thickness of 150 microns is required. For long-term protection, the coating thickness should be increased.

CYNKAL is most commonly used where technical or economic reasons prevent thorough surface preparation through sandblasting or when partially well-adhered corrosion products and old coatings remain after mechanical surface treatment.

CYNKAL offers measurable economic benefits by eliminating a significant portion of the costs associated with mechanical or chemical surface preparation before painting.

Like most paints, CYNKAL is resistant to temperatures up to 200°C; however, discoloration of the coating may occur. The addition of reactive cross-linking resins increases the hardness of the coating and prevents streak formation at temperatures of 130-140°C.
