Marking
The fire extinguisher marking must include information according to regulation SR EN 3-7:2004 + A1:2007. Each fire extinguisher must have a label, which will be placed on the body of the extinguisher so it is clearly visible.
- Part 1: Name, specifically the words “fire extinguisher,” followed by the model designation: EXTINGUISHER P1-E-40.
- Part 2: Operating instructions, which must include one or more icons, each with an explanation.
- Part 3: Information regarding restrictions or hazards of use, especially regarding toxicity or electrical hazard.
- Part 4: Operating and test pressures, identification of the extinguishing agent and propellant gas.
- Part 5: Name and address of manufacturer; year of manufacture.
Important: The label must not under any circumstances be removed or destroyed. If this happens, the fire extinguisher can no longer be identified or checked at expiry.
Storage
Portable fire extinguishers with 1 kg of powder, model P1-E-40, must be stored in clean and dry areas at temperatures between -30° and +60°C.
