The BasicProtect car mat set consists of two rubber mats for the rear of the Hyundai Ioniq Hatchback, from 2016 onward. Selected from a range of universal shapes, they fit this body style better than standard universal models, without following the floor contours exactly. Anti-slip studs help keep them stable on most surfaces, while the mud- and water-resistant rubber used in the BasicProtect range is designed for year-round use.
The mats are simply placed in the car and cleaned by rinsing with water and drying. They can be used as replacements for the original rear mats.
