    Jet

The jet helmet is lightweight and comfortable as it is easy to put on and take off. It offers great visibility and is cool. However, it lacks in safety compared to a full-face helmet because it leaves a large area of the face uncovered.

  • Material

    Thermoplastic

This is a plastic material mainly used in more affordable and entry-level helmets.

Thermoplastic shells, such as Polycarbonate or ABS, offer basic protection through deformation upon impact, with greater weight and lower production cost compared to composite materials.

  • Certification

Certification refers to the official inspection that confirms the helmet meets specific safety standards as defined by international organizations (e.g., ECE, DOT). It is an indication that the helmet has been tested and approved for its ability to protect in real collision conditions.

    ECE 22.06

New European-type safety specification certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact check points instead of 6 as was previously the case. It is now considered the most modern and comprehensive standard for helmet safety in Europe.

Description & Specifications

This jet-type helmet offers a lightweight and comfortable design, making it easy to put on and take off. Its wide visibility makes it ideal for daily commutes, while the thermoplastic construction ensures basic protection. However, it should be noted that it remains less safe compared to full-face helmets, as it covers less of the face area.

Additionally, it features an internal sun visor for protection against the sun, which can be easily pulled down with a single motion. The helmet’s interior lining is removable and washable, offering convenience in maintenance.

There are some important details to keep in mind:

  • It is ECE 22.06 certified, ensuring that it meets modern helmet safety standards, which assess protection at 18 impact test points.
  • It does not feature Bluetooth, focusing more on simple and safe use.
