It's advertised to work at up to USB 3.2 Gen 1 speed (~600MB/s). It doesn't even get close to that number. I bought it because I don't need to copy to it frequently. The massive size and decent read speed allow me to copy what I need once tolerating how slow it is then use the files directly from it. I'll give it 4 stars for the great price to capacity. I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a big USB drive that fits plenty of data and doesn't mind waiting for the copy to finish. I mainly use it to copy system ISOs and recovery tools for PC/laptop maintenance, and it does a very good job when I boot from it. The large capacity means that I only need to copy my tools to it once so I won't suffer with the slow write speed.
EDIT: for those who can't see the benchmark image, the sequential reads reach up to 117 MB/s. The sequential writes never exceed 20 MB/s. The random 4K reads is at about 7 MB/s, and the random 4K writes are at ~2 MB/s only.
