The Samyang 100mm T3.1 VDSLR ED UMC MACRO lens is the cinematic/videographic version of the Samyang 100mm F2.8 ED UMC MACRO lens, with excellent optical quality and an integrated mechanism for videographic settings with follow focus systems. It is compatible with full-frame, suitable for cameras and camcorders with interchangeable lenses that have 24x36mm (full frame) or smaller sensors. It belongs to the VDSLR II series with uniform color reproduction and the placement of aperture and focus rings for greater ease during filming.

The Samyang 100mm T3.1 VDSLR ED UMC MACRO lens allows for more controlled videographic work with T indication and focus ring for the follow focus system, ensuring silent and smooth control of the decoupled aperture and smooth focusing. Also, the distance scale and T numbers are marked on both sides of the lens for convenience.

With a reproduction ratio of 1:1, it is ideal for impressive close-up shots and macro photography. It features vibrant color reproduction and soft blurred backgrounds (bokeh), making it ideal for close-up shots of flowers and insects or for portraits.

This lens includes 15 elements in 12 groups, including a high-refractive (HR) lens and an extra-low dispersion (ED) lens to minimize chromatic aberrations and other defects, achieving maximum resolution and image quality. The Ultra Multi Coating (UMC) of Samyang lenses optimizes light penetration and minimizes reflection and noise.

The 9 diaphragm blades offer beautiful natural bokeh even at small aperture settings. The lens frame is compact and made from high-strength aluminum alloy, and it features a removable hood to minimize reflection and noise.
