The VERDICT is the most aggressive front wheel tire. Ideal when grip is more important than rolling efficiency. The wide, sharp knobs provide traction on loose terrain, while the open spaces between the knobs ensure excellent mud drainage.
Key Features:
- Intended use: Enduro, Gravity
- Surface: Loose, Dirty, Rocky, Wet
- Total wide range: 25-35 mm
The central, edge, and outer tread feature large knobs that dig deep, with length that withstands intense braking, and thick, supportive bases that do not flex. The triangular arrangements have been updated with improved block shapes and bridges to prevent flexing and increase support in corners, while extending tread life. The depth of the bridges has been reduced on the outer blocks to improve support without sacrificing grip on wet roots and rocks.
A continuously open channel between the intermediate and side blocks provides clear zones of excellent grip during braking and cornering. The large open space between all blocks allows the tread to settle on the driest summer days and to shed mud during the wettest months. Designed mainly to deliver intense grip in corners.
The TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standard tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless casing that nearly eliminates punctures and allows lower tire pressures for improved grip and comfort compared to traditional tube tires.
SG2 technology offers lightweight mountain bike tires with SG2 puncture protection. SG2 is a lightweight nylon coating that protects all areas of the tire with an additional level of puncture resistance, while improving sidewall stability and tire support without the added weight of a Tough (double-layer) casing.
