The Highlift hair dye features integrated Hair-Bond technology, offering significant reduction in hair damage. It combines lightening and tone in one step.
Indola PCC numbering system: This system is based on a combination of up to 3 numbers. The number before the dash (e.g. 5-56) indicates the tone level of the shade. It also shows the natural base on which the shade can exactly achieve the color of the color chart strand. The number after the dash (e.g. 5-56): the first digit indicates the primary tone, the second digit indicates the secondary tone. Two identical digits mean intense tone.
Application: Always mix in a 1:1 ratio, e.g. 60ml dye + 60ml Developer. For 1-2 levels of lightening, use 6% 20vol Developer. For 2-3 levels of lightening, use 9% 30vol Developer. Apply the mixture on dry, unwashed hair.
- For coloring natural hair: Apply evenly to mid-lengths and ends and leave to process for 10 minutes. Then, apply the remaining mixture to the root area and leave to process for another 30 minutes. Total processing time: 40 minutes.
- For root coloring / double application: Apply the mixture only on the root area. Leave to process for 10 minutes and then apply the Color Transformer mixture on mid-lengths and ends, leaving it to process for another 20 minutes. Emulsify and rinse thoroughly.
Warning: It is important to perform an allergy test 48 hours before coloring to protect against the risk of unwanted allergic reactions.
The dye contains the following warnings:
- H318: Causes serious eye damage.
- H315: Causes skin irritation.
- H412: Harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
- H317: May cause an allergic skin reaction.
Instructions for allergy test: Mix 5 grams of dye (the exact shade to be used) and 5 grams of developer cream. Apply 1cm of dye directly under the bend of the elbow. Leave the dye uncovered for 45 minutes. Then rinse the area with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean towel.
