The battery is of the open type and requires periodic inspection and/or maintenance. Every two months, the fluid levels should be checked. The level should never fall below the minimum indication in any of the battery cells. Refilling should be done exclusively with deionized water. During long periods of inactivity, periodic charging will help optimize its lifespan.
The battery is not factory activated. The package includes the electrolyte in a container for initial filling. The activation process is carried out at the time of receipt.
