Instructions for lighting the lamp: First, add water 2 - 3 centimeters or salt to the cup. Then, fill with olive oil or nut oil, being careful not to overflow the cup. Secure the wick firmly in the lamp holder, ensuring it stays as low as possible so that 2/3 of the wick are submerged in the oil. This helps prevent smoking and quick consumption of the wick. Next, place the lamp wick into the oil and light the wick. Be careful that the flame does not exceed one centimeter in height to prevent smoking and blackening the surrounding area.
