The keychain is made of stainless steel, offering resistance to wear and lasting shine. The engraving is done with a high-precision laser and can reproduce text, symbols, photos, and designs.
Text engraving instructions
- Choose your preferred engraving finish: shiny, more subtle, or dark laser engraving. Dark engraving is recommended for keychains because of how they are used.
- The pendant can be engraved on the front and/or back.
- Choose one of the 4 available fonts. Samples are shown in the photo. If you want the text in all capital letters, avoid the 4th font, as it may not be legible.
- Enter the text you want engraved in the “Engraving Text” field, e.g., “Front: Maria + George, Back: 11/08/2”.
- A small heart, infinity symbol, musical note, or emoticon can be engraved alongside the text.
Design or photo engraving instructions
- Upload your chosen design by selecting “Upload file.” To engrave a design on the second side as well, upload the file using “Upload file” in the “Second Side Design” field.
- Designs are laser-engraved in a dark finish. Color engraving is not available.
- The exact design you attach will be engraved (jpeg, jpg, png, or pdf file). The higher the resolution, the better the result.
Engraving takes 3–5 business days, depending on workload.

What is stainless steel?
Steel, commonly known as iron alloy, is an iron–carbon alloy. Stainless steel is a special category of steel containing higher proportions of other metals. Steel has become popular in recent years because it offers several advantages: it is much less expensive than silver and gold, does not tarnish, is hypoallergenic compared with other metals such as brass, and is quite durable.
