Rare fruit-bearing plant Jaltomato (Jaltomata procumbens) with black fruits and a unique flavor. This plant grows over 1 meter tall, forming lively and robust plants. During its flowering period, it displays clear white flowers with pointed petals, adding elegance to the space.
After flowering, the Jaltomato produces dark purple to almost black fruits, resembling blueberries and creating a strong contrast with the foliage. The fruit's flesh is white with a flavor combining characteristics of grape and tomato. The fruits can be consumed fresh, dried, or in jams and sweets.
The Jaltomato prefers rich, humus-rich soils that retain moisture and is relatively rare in the market, making it an ideal choice for collectors and lovers of rare plants.
Planting of the Jaltomato comes with cultivation instructions provided with the purchase.
