European Framework of Reference A2, B1, B2

A New Start is an English course for adults who want to refresh and deepen forgotten language skills from school or previous language courses in just two semesters.

Refresher A2 and Refresher B1 are the completely revised successors of the previous volumes Basic and Certificate Course. New illustrations and photos, a clear layout, many new exercise formats, and precise alignment with the Common European Framework of Reference characterize the new edition. All texts have been updated to reflect important cultural and linguistic changes. A focus of the coursebook is on teaching authentic, natural language – also as a lingua franca. Both volumes come with an included Home Study CD.

A New Start - Refresher A2: for adults who have previously learned English up to about the A2 level of the CEF or had 3-4 years of school English.

A New Start - Refresher B1: for adults who have previously learned English up to about the B1 level of the CEF or had 5-6 years of school English.
