With the Vacation Workbook into the Summer Holidays, students are well prepared for the new school year. They accompany five friends and review the material from the student book. The exercises can be done on the beach, on the train, or at home. The texts can be listened to, for example, with a smartphone, and the solutions allow for independent checking.

The big plus for competence-oriented French teaching.

Ŕ plus! New edition focuses entirely on the competence development of the students. The teaching material is easy to handle, does not overwhelm the students, and at the same time provides enough material for faster learners, inspiring and motivating through songs, games, and movement-based learning.

Transparent Structure of the Units

The introductory page presents the learning tasks and gives an overview of the competence focus areas. This is followed by three Volets with texts and exercises that specifically prepare for the learning tasks.

Parallel exercises in the student book show two learning paths leading to the same goal. Symbols mark the tasks at the upper and lower ends of the performance spectrum.

Preparation for the DELF

From the very first units, Ŕ plus! New edition prepares students for the DELF. For this purpose, there are test tasks in DELF format on the Bilan pages.

Diagnose and Support

On the optional pages Fais le point and Bilan, students review what they have learned so far and check their performance level.

Teachers will find a diagnostic tool here with which they can create individual support plans - supplemented by materials in the teacher’s folder. Also suitable for "paperless" use on PC and teacher platforms.

Teacher’s Version of the Student Book

Vocabulary and grammar highlighted in color with notes for lesson preparation, references to additional materials such as transparencies, interactive whiteboard materials, additional differentiation and support exercises in the teacher materials.

Audio CDs

The CDs include the lesson texts as well as the listening comprehension texts, songs, and poems.

Video DVD

Integrated listening and viewing comprehension is the focus from the start: The video DVD shows film sequences, which are indicated by a DVD symbol in the student book.

Various exercises and tasks accompanying the teaching material include enhanced dialogue training in role plays and cooperative tasks, differentiated offers for different learning prerequisites, review exercises in or before each unit, tasks for listening and viewing comprehension, and diagnostic pages (Fais le point) to check learning progress after each unit.

Activity Booklet with Interactive Exercises

The interactive exercises are a supplementary offer to the Activity Booklet. The training units are aligned with the teaching content and offer students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the most important topics. Tips and feedback support independent task completion.

My Grammar for Writing Yourself

With this grammar, students can regularly record their progress, formulate and collect grammar rules themselves. This way, they always have an overview of their knowledge.

The booklet for different learning types offers numerous memory aids, learning tips, and a summary of the grammar content of all previous volumes, along with mini-check tasks for immediate application of the rules.

Learning Diary

Students can regularly record their progress in the learning diary as well as collect thematic vocabulary, important expressions, and grammar. This way, they always keep an overview of their accumulated knowledge.
