The ZWO AM7 telescope mount uses a strain-wave gear system, with stepper motors and toothed belts on both axes. It supports equatorial mode for astrophotography and altazimuth mode for visual observation, while the altitude adjustment range of 0° to 90° allows it to be used worldwide. It can be controlled wirelessly via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the Sky Atlas app for iOS or Android, or connected wirelessly to a ZWO ASIAIR computer.
The mount can carry a payload of up to 20 kg without counterweights and up to 30 kg with optional counterweights. The saddle accepts Vixen or Losmandy dovetail bars. Each mount is individually measured and comes with a PE test report.
