Speedarc Cemont welding electrodes have a rutile coating and a diameter of 2.5 mm. They are easy to strike and restrike, and maintain a stable arc with very little spatter, using both direct and alternating current.

The weld has an attractive appearance, and the slag is easy to remove. During use, fumes and gases may be hazardous to health; ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhaling them. The electric arc can damage the eyes and skin, while electric current can be fatal. Use a welding mask and protective clothing, and avoid contact with cables or exposed live parts.
