The board game Combat Commander: Resistance! (or CC:R) expands Combat Commander: Europe and Combat Commander: Mediterranean by adding partisans and their war behind front lines. This fourth volume in the Combat Commander series of war board games features special rules and components for battling with partisan forces against the Axis powers in Europe.

The new CC:R playbook covers the following:

  • Update to the Random Scenario Generator, including the Partisan Leader Table and Fortification OB
  • Definition of the Partisan Faction, Unit Structure, Statistics, and Weapons
  • Rules for Irregular Warfare, Sewers, and Objective Points
  • New Orders: Escape and Rally
  • New Actions: Knife, No Mercy, and Trap
  • New Events: Inexperience, Patriotism, and Stealth Movement

In addition to the new playbook, the game includes 3 double-sided game maps (6 maps in total), 6 double-sided scenario sheets (12 scenarios in total), a sheet of counters (units and markers), a deck of 36 Partisan Fate cards, and a deck of 19 Partisan Forces cards. The new maps depict specific historical locations in Greece, Herzegovina, Eastern Bosnia, Belarus, Croatia, and Western Bosnia.
