I bought this stand for home use, without having a rack, so designs compatible with 28 mm are not many. The distance between the ears of the stand is very marginal for the U of the lower joint when assembled together with the sliding rings. This can lead to the lower joint coming loose over time, with a possible risk of injury, because due to increased friction the lower bolt keeps turning continuously, while at the same time being shorter than it should be, since when the washers are also inserted it barely passes through the plastic of the safety nut. In the end I had to replace one sliding ring with one of the bolt washers in order for it to work more safely. Also, the paint had bubbled in several places. Finally, there is no thread for securing the bar on either of the 2 tubes, although a corresponding screw is provided in the box. The assembly instructions even show a different model. For its price this stand is unacceptable and borderline dangerous. As assembled as I described, I do not expect a problem, however I would have gone with another brand if I had known.
