Origin: Produced in Epitalio of Pyrgos Ileias, in Western Peloponnese.

Variety: It is 100% Koroneiki, which in the region of Ileia gives an exceptionally balanced result.

Characteristics:

• Very low acidity (usually <0.3%)
• Strong fruity aroma and taste reminiscent of freshly picked olives
• Has won several gold medals in international competitions (such as EVO IOOC)

Why is it considered "Gourmet"? Because Ileia Olive Oil Mill combines tradition with modern cold pressing techniques. It is the oil that pleasantly "pinches" the throat, a sign that it is rich in antioxidants.

Fun Fact: Ileia is one of the regions with the oldest tradition in olive cultivation in Greece, due to its fertile soil and climate near Ancient Olympia.
