The SmallRig HawkLock Quick Release Cage is designed for Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7S III, Alpha 1, and Alpha 7R IV (4481) models. It offers increased protection and multiple accessory mounting options. It incorporates the patented HawkLock system, which supports cold shoe, NATO rail, and Arca-Swiss, facilitating one-press mounting and automatic locking, reducing setup time and ensuring a secure connection with compatible accessories.

The camera is secured at three points with a locating pin on the base, a 1/4″-20 screw, and a side M2.5 screw, preventing any movement during use. The side locks are adjustable depending on the camera type, while internal protective inserts prevent scratches. It provides full access to buttons, connection ports, battery compartment, and card slots. The specially shaped battery holder follows the camera’s curve, offering extra space for comfortable grip.
