Materials & Upper Construction Structure

The upper of the Nike Shox TL features a breathable mesh base that allows air to circulate continuously inside the shoe. It is surrounded by a molded TPU cage (thermoplastic polyurethane) that wraps around the foot, providing lateral stability and durability. Reinforcements at the toe and heel protect high-wear areas.

Nike Shox Cushioning Technology

The midsole features Nike Shox full-length technology, consisting of vertical cylindrical columns positioned from heel to toe. These columns compress upon ground contact, effectively absorbing impact and returning energy with each step. Meanwhile, the midfoot plates ensure even pressure distribution across the entire sole.

Outsole & Traction

The outsole is made of durable solid rubber and features a redesigned Waffle tread pattern. This design provides a stable step and traction on various types of urban surfaces. Flexible grooves between the outsole lugs allow the foot to bend naturally while walking.
