The SmallRig charger for NP-FW50 batteries offers full compatibility with Sony NP-FW50 and can charge both original and third-party batteries. It features a dual slot, allowing simultaneous charging of two batteries or charging of one, completing two full charges in approximately 1.5 hours.

The charger's smart circuit provides multiple protection functions, such as:

• Overheating and overvoltage control
• Continuous monitoring of temperature and voltage
• Automatic reduction of charging power in case of high temperature
• Power cutoff in case of overvoltage
• Trickle charging when the battery approaches full charge

Each charging channel has five LED indicators showing the charge level in 20% increments, while a red warning indicator activates when the energy level is critically low. It includes a USB-C port and a fast charging cable, offering flexible use with wall chargers, car chargers, or power banks.

When using a 5V / 1A adapter, the charger operates in slow charging mode, prioritizing the battery in Channel 1, while charging on Channel 2 starts automatically once Channel 1 charging is complete.
