The Alista Home ELM 327 car diagnostic tool connects to the vehicle’s OBD 2 port and communicates via Bluetooth with a Windows computer or laptop. It reads and clears OBD-II fault codes, including pending and manufacturer-specific codes, and displays real-time engine data and freeze-frame snapshots. It can also measure engine power and parameters such as acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h.
It supports ISO KWP and ISO CAN protocols, and its operation depends on the vehicle’s protocol and the diagnostic software. The list of compatible vehicles includes European passenger cars, off-road vehicles, and vans from 1996 onward.
