The blade is tested in a water bath at 10,000 V for dielectric strength, and the ProTop II VDE series complies with the DIN EN IEC 60900:2004 standard.

The ergonomic handle has a contoured profile for applying high force, a triangular shape designed for a 120° hand turning angle, and a quick-turn zone made of soft material. The series is tested for cold resistance down to -40 °C.
