Pre-order content:

  • Grace Outfit: Apocalypse (Grace’s appearance will change, with no impact on gameplay. This content may be available later.)

The survival horror experience takes on a new dimension in 2026 with the ninth main title of the Resident Evil series.

Technological advancements and the rich experience of the development team combine in a story with complex characters and more exciting gameplay than ever before.

Grace Ashcroft, an FBI technology analyst, is assigned to investigate the Wrenwood hotel as part of a probe into deaths caused by an unidentified disease. What she discovers will lead her to where it all began: Raccoon City.

Features:

  • Three epic editions: Resident Evil Requiem will be available in Standard and Deluxe Editions, with the Deluxe Edition including the base game as well as an exclusive pack of five costumes, four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon talismans, and more.
  • Brand new protagonist: Grace Ashcroft is an introverted and easily frightened FBI information analyst and represents a new type of character for the Resident Evil series. She is also trained with firearms and uses investigative logic to keep calm under pressure.
  • Customizable survival horror experience: For the first time in Resident Evil history, players will be able to freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives during gameplay.
  • First Resident Evil amiibo: Grace from Resident Evil Requiem will be the series' first amiibo, available from summer 2026.
  • Worldwide horror acclaim: Resident Evil Requiem features voiceovers and subtitles in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and others.

Important anniversary: March 2026 marks 30 years since the launch of the Resident Evil series, with Resident Evil Requiem marking a significant milestone for the franchise.

Review this product
  • Wonderful title. It runs very well even on 10-year-old systems. The story is moving and gives you chills. I don't want to say much to avoid spoilers. However, I would have preferred some parts to be more "concise," because just as the story reaches its climax, it drags a little. But it doesn't disappoint. The Japanese know how to satisfy the fans of the series and create games that don't need a nuclear reactor to run. Kudos to their programmers and writers. From me, an honest 10/10. I love Raccoon City.

Note: I only encountered one specific bug (it might also be my graphics card's fault) where a particular enemy would display a black box when it appeared and I targeted it. But apart from that, nothing else.
