The midrange and bass drivers feature Klarity™ cones, made from a blend of polypropylene and mica for high rigidity and low distortion. The advanced magnet system includes an aluminium ring that minimises inductance variations as the voice coil moves. The coil is wound on an epoxy/glass-fibre former, delivering excellent thermal stability, increased power handling and a clean acoustic response.

The Diamond 12i series features a redesigned bass reflex port with airflow optimised using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), providing more precise control of low frequencies. The cabinet features a multi-layer sandwich construction with computer-designed internal spot bracing, eliminating unwanted panel resonances.
