Klarity Cones & Advanced Magnet

The midrange and bass drivers feature Klarity™ cones made from a polypropylene and mica blend for maximum stiffness and low distortion. The advanced magnet system includes an aluminium ring that reduces inductance fluctuations, while the voice coil is wound on an epoxy/glass fibre former, ensuring high thermal stability and increased power handling.

Woven-Dome Tweeter & Linkwitz-Riley Crossover

The high frequencies are reproduced by a 25 mm tweeter with a woven polyester dome and a special damping coating, delivering extended, smooth treble. The acoustically designed front baffle improves off-axis sound dispersion. Meanwhile, the advanced Linkwitz-Riley crossover with air-core inductors ensures minimal phase shift and seamless integration between the drivers.

Improved Bass Port & Sturdy Cabinet

The Diamond 12i series features a redesigned bass-reflex port with airflow optimised using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), delivering more precise control of low frequencies. The cabinet features a multi-layer sandwich construction with computer-designed internal spot bracing, eliminating unwanted resonances.
