3-Way Architecture & Advanced Speakers

The Wharfedale EVO 5.3 features a 3-way configuration with two 5" (130 mm) bass drivers made of woven Kevlar (Black Woven Kevlar Cone) and a 2" (50 mm) soft-dome midrange driver. This combination delivers exceptionally clear vocals and deep, controlled bass, with a frequency response of 46 Hz–24 kHz and bass extension down to 40 Hz.

AMT Tweeter & Technical Specifications

The high-frequency unit uses a special 35 x 70 mm AMT (Air Motion Transformer) driver for crystal-clear, distortion-free performance. The speaker features a bass-reflex enclosure with a volume of 35.4 L, 88 dB sensitivity, a nominal impedance of 4 Ω (compatible with 8 Ω), and supports amplifiers rated at 25–150 W, delivering a maximum SPL of 106 dB.
