The Omegon Pro APO AP 96/575 Triplet ED FCD-100 apochromatic telescope combines a triplet objective lens with Hoya FCD100 ED glass, which has extremely low dispersion. It produces high-contrast images with realistic colour rendition for astronomical observation and astrophotography. Internal baffles reduce reflections, enhancing contrast.

The 2.5-inch hybrid focuser is based on the Crayford design and combines it with a toothed rack for precision and stability. It supports accessories weighing up to 10 kg and, once adjusted, maintains focus even when the telescope is moved. It features a 2-inch connection with a 1.25-inch adapter, as well as an internal M63 thread for attaching a field flattener or reducer.
