The Obex BC MIPS ski helmet is designed for quick recognition and the durability required for off-piste skiing. Updated for the new season, it features the MIPS system, which enhances brain protection during falls. MIPS allows for 10-15 mm of movement upon impact, aiming to reduce rotational forces on the head.

The helmet is equipped with an NFC medical chip, allowing rescuers to access important medical information at the injury site, helping them make the best possible treatment assessment during the critical "golden hour" immediately following an accident. The introduction of the NFC system is part of POC's approach to ski helmet design, which must, above all, ensure uncompromised safety.
