Several variants of this combat vehicle were developed, which later formed the basis for the development of the "T-64." In the "Object 430," changes concerned the position and arrangement of the engine and the entire engine-transmission assembly. The engine was placed transversely to the driving direction at the rear, allowing increased internal space for the 4-person crew and ammunition.
