Description

Collectible figure Object 430 (World of Tanks). An original prototype of this medium tank was manufactured from 1953 to 1957 to replace the T-54. Several prototypes were built, but the Soviet government decided to develop a tank with greater resistance to nuclear attacks and better fire protection, resulting in the project being discontinued in 1961.

Product Description:

  • The models consist of many small parts, which may be dangerous for children under 14 years old.
  • Model assembly by children under 14 years old should be done under parental supervision.
  • Researching and assembling models promotes technical creative skills and inspires the history of science and technology.
  • No glue or adhesive is needed for the models. Each piece is released from the sheet and then connected tightly.

History of the original: After reviewing the results of World War II and analyzing the effectiveness of all weapon types, the Soviet government considered the need to modernize its fleet of armored vehicles. The need to replace the T-54 medium tank led to the start of a new tank project in 1953, generally called "Object 430." Several variants of this combat vehicle were developed, which later formed the basis for the development of the "T-64." In the "Object 430," changes concerned the position and arrangement of the engine and the entire engine-transmission assembly. The engine was placed transversely to the driving direction at the rear, allowing increased internal space for the 4-person crew and ammunition.

Features and advantages:

  • Nevertheless, the "Object 430" was a powerful combat vehicle, approaching some parameters of heavy tanks.
  • The main long barrel allowed shooting at long distances.
  • Strong armor protected the crew and ammunition even from direct hits by 120 mm artillery.
  • The tank could reach speeds up to 55 km/h on a hard surface and overcome water obstacles up to 5 meters deep (using underwater driving equipment).

In the popular MMO game "World of Tanks," the "Object 430" is a powerful offensive force, capable of competing with all representatives of the Soviet military industry. The high speed, strong armor, main barrel, and modification capability make this Tier X tank an important part of the arsenal.

  • Number of parts: 64 (pieces)
  • Difficulty level: 1 (from 1 to 8)
  • Assembly time: 1 (average)
