Hamlet is called to confront not only the death of his father and his mother's marriage to Claudius, but also the revelation that his father was murdered to cover up possible crimes in which their construction company was involved.

With references to contemporary socio-political reality, the adaptation sheds light on the timeless questions of the play: truth and lies, responsibility and complicity, personal morality in the face of the suffering of others, reason and madness. Florakis's Hamlet struggles within a world where power buys consciences and imaginary figures blur with the guilt of the living.
