The Bohrcraft set of 10 metal drill bits has cylindrical shanks and is made of HSS. The bits are long, right-hand cutting, type N, with a 118° point angle, in accordance with DIN 340. They are heat-treated, rolled and blackened.

They are suitable for drilling unalloyed and low-alloy steels with a tensile strength of 750 N/mm², non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, copper and brass alloys, as well as various sintered materials, except for sintered parts made from steel powders or metal carbides. They are used in drill presses and stationary equipment, and only occasionally in portable electric or pneumatic drills.
