To use the mask properly, it is important to start with clean hair and apply the appropriate amount (about two walnuts) to damp hair, focusing mainly from the mid-lengths to the ends. Leave the mask on for at least 5 minutes, while an extra tip is to wrap your hair with a warm towel to enhance absorption. Then, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm to cold water to seal the hair cuticles and "lock in" all the nutrients.
