The Bohrcraft 15 mm twist drill is designed for drilling metal and features a 118° point, in accordance with DIN 338, Type N. It is made from ground HSS-G and cuts to the right, with a helix angle of 20–30°. The diameter tolerance is h8.

It is suitable for unalloyed and low-alloy steels with Rm ≤ 800 N/mm², cast iron, non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, copper and bronze alloys, plastics, and various sintered materials, except for components made from steel powders or metal carbides. It is recommended for drilling machines and stationary equipment; use with portable electric or pneumatic drills is intended for occasional use only.
